Uganda Makes First TelexFree related arrest

Uganda makes the first TelexFree related arrest of a local Ronald Muramuzi, who apparently was recruiting people into multiple HYIPs under multiple aliases and alternate names, and thus making himself quite rich. He's alleged to have profited by 2.37 Million USD (over 4 billion UGX)

Bank of Uganda at a conference named TelexFree and some fraudulent Forex operators as "unregulated and unlicensed financial schemes" that prey upon the poor and the uneducated.

Uganda news New Vision published an opinion / editorial by a member of the President's office: TelexFree is a scam, do not join.

The website was hit hard for 24 hours and the text was unreadable until recently, by either frantic people trying to read it, or deliberate attack to prevent the warning from being read.

Uganda's ambassador to Rwanda just tweeted Rwanda's official ruling on TelexFree: it's BANNED! And he's asking Uganda to ban this quickly too!
